The First Wings of Resiliency Night

St. Edward High School • November 2025

We’re proud to announce the first-ever Resiliency Night, hosted by Wings of Resiliency in partnership with St. Edward High School — the school our son David attended before we lost him to suicide in 2022. This night will be more than an event — it will be a movement. A gathering of students, families, veterans, first responders, and mental health leaders united by one mission: to build stronger, more connected, more compassionate communities. Our partners — including NAMI Ohio, AFSP Ohio, the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation, the VA, the VFW, and the American Legion — don’t just support this initiative; they want it, they need it. They see what we see: that scattered resources and disconnected efforts hold us back from real progress. Wings of Resiliency is determined to change that. We’re starting in Lakewood with St. Edward High School, and we won’t stop until every county, school, and community across Ohio is connected through education, awareness, and action. Because mental health and suicide prevention aren’t isolated issues — they affect us all. This is not an 'I' problem. It’s not a 'me' problem.

This is a WE problem — and WE are stronger together.
